Marieka is the Associate Director of Client Success in the Programs Department at Pyxera Global, where she leads the Client Success Unit and is focused on understanding and meeting client needs and ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes. Her team ensures positive relationships and experiences, maps the client success journey, and creates and implements the client onboarding process.
Marieka has dedicated her career to helping communities thrive. She first joined Pyxera Global in 2016, where she spent five years collaborating with a diverse range of clients to manage global skills-based volunteering programs addressing critical social issues in communities around the world, including racial justice, economic equity, and health equity. She also played a key role in advancing thought leadership by spearheading the skills-based volunteering State of the Practice initiative and Global Pro Bono LEAD, a network of CSR professionals. She rejoined Pyxera Global in 2025, eager to contribute her expertise and passion to advance the organization’s mission.
Marieka most recently worked as the Senior Director of Operations at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, a non-profit organization focused on creating economic opportunities for underserved entrepreneurs. Previously, she also served as a Peace Corps Community Health Volunteer in Mozambique and an English Instructor in the Republic of Georgia.
Marieka holds a Master’s in Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College. She is also PMP certified and earned her Sustainable Business Certificate from UVA.
