After more than three decades crafting meaningful partnerships and advancing community-led solutions, today we’re sharing our new annual report.
With all our expertise creating transformative experiences and nurturing long-term change, we recognize that the challenges communities face around the world today are urgent and demand bold action. Publishing a report to share that experience—our insights on collaborative approaches to addressing our world’s most pressing problems—is a critical step in accelerating progress toward a world where equitable and regenerative systems enable all communities to thrive.
To achieve our mission, we must work together. Our annual report can show you how.
A Year of Rebuilding and Reimagining
Amid global uncertainty, Pyxera Global hit some remarkable milestones last year. We delivered over $21 million in program services across 55 countries, engaged more than 3,000 skilled volunteers to support 770 partner organizations, and built bridges between sectors to ensure communities around the world have the resources to drive their own progress.
We also faced challenges, though. After three years, we restored our revenue to pre-pandemic levels, emerging stronger, wiser, and more determined to create lasting change. We sustained impactful programs and projects across the globe, some operating for over a decade even as they faced threats from war and economic instability. We launched bold new initiatives such as the Systemic Climate Action Collaborative and the Circular City Coalition—recognized by Fast Company as a “World Changing Idea” in 2023—to tackle systemic challenges, while new partnerships expanded our efforts toward equitable and regenerative change.
What’s in the Report?
Pyxera Global works with leading foundations, philanthropists, and public institutions, with multinational corporations and small local businesses, and with community organizations and governments around the world—from Argentina to Hong Kong, Nigeria to Mumbai, and Belarus to Washington, DC.
Our programs, each yielding innumerable stories of personal and organizational transformation, span five key focus areas: economic equity, circularity and regeneration, digital inclusion, food security, and global health equity. For example:
- In northern Nigeria, our Rayuwa Project (also a winner of Fast Company‘s 2021 World Changing Idea Awards) with the John Deere Foundation supported more than 13,000 farmers and their families in earning an additional $7.7 million from staple crops and more diverse community investments last year alone, reducing hunger and strengthening local economies.
- In the U.S. and Canada, SAP employees dedicated over 3,000 pro bono consulting hours to strengthening Black- and Indigenous-owned businesses, including Longhouse Branding & Marketing, which itself has supported 800+ other businesses grow and generate an estimated $335 million in revenue.
And these are just two samples of our work in 55 countries in 2023. Across dozens of programs every year, we implement scalable, community-first solutions that transform lives and reimagine how communities, companies, and governments can work together to create lasting change.
